History

On 08 July 2008 Rainer Breitbach jun. and Markus Brix acquired the campsite, formally known as Campong Park Meerbusch . The name was changed to Rheincamping Meerbusch and from day one it has been run as a family business with much help from Rainer's parents, Rainer sen. and Antonia Breitbach . Rainer and Markus were new to running a campsite but after many years of camping, as children with their parents, they knew exactly what a good campsite should be like. Both partners have trained as hotel professionals and come from the 5 -star hotel and tourism industry, prior to running Rheincamping Meerbusch Rainer and Markus owned a hotel in Chiemgau area ( Bavaria )
