Rheincamping Meerbusch in winter

Our campsite is one of the few places in Germany that is seasonal. We completely dismantle our site at the end of each season, because of the imminent danger of flooding, that can occur in winter, we then re-build everything in spring. All this is always a major logistical challenge because everything that we have put in place, to try and create a pleasant and efficient campsite for you, is packed away to preserve it in good order for the next season. All equipment that has become degraded is removed. To this end, we always start several weeks before the beginning of the season to set everything up. In winter, the site remains empty and returns back to nature. The construction work begins again in March .
